Jace's Birthday

I can't believe my baby is 1. Where did the time go? I swear I just had him! He is such a joy in our lives. We love him more than he will ever know! Thanks sweet boy for being my mommy's boy. You grew up so fast and I am proud of you. I can't wait to continue to watch you grow! Love you to the moon

Jace and the turkeys

I took the kids down to the farm the other day to help get baby turkeys. It wa Jace's first time, and he loved every minute of it. He would get down to the turkeys eye level and yell at them. He thought they were pretty neat. It was so fun to watch him.

Our house

I have been slacking at blogging about our new house. We started building at the end of August, and things are coming a long so great! We are having George Billings from my parents ward build it, and we are so happy. It's going to be nicer than everything I ever dreamed of, and I'm so grateful to Steven for working so hard to provide this for our family. The girls are so excited they can hardly wait.

Preschool

I'm so behind on blogging!! Brooklyn and Brynlee started preschool on Sept. 9th. They love it so much. The first day was a little rough. I had to ride the bus with them, and they cried for the most part of school. So the second day I took them and they only cried fora few minutes before they decided it was ok. Now they absolutely love school and wish it was preschool day everyday. They even got to have a grandparents day!

Fishing for FHE

On Aug. 31st Steven and I took the kids fishing up Manti canyon. The girls were so excited, and ready for their first fishing trip. We were unsuccessful at catching anything, but very successful at teaching the girls about the creation and the beautiful things our father in Heaven has provided for us. I'm so grateful for the beauty around me and for my Heavenly Father for providing it for us.

Cheer Camp

A couple weeks ago a girl from our ward messaged me and asked if the girls could come to cheer camp. I tried to think of excuses not to do it, but I gave it and let them try it out. This is totally out of my comfort zone, but I'm learning that I will do anything for my kids even if it involves Cheer Camp at Manti ;) They had so much fun. They did awesome and I'm so proud of them. Normally they are shy when it comes to doing things in front of people, but they cheered and danced very good. They were so excited to have Grandpa and Grandma Johnson come, and also Grandma Olson. I love my cute girls!

The Last of Summer 2015

I have quite a bit of catching up to do, Jace had thrown my phone in the bath tub, so I hadn't taken the time to get on the computer to blog. I can't believe that Summer is almost coming to a close. I seriously don't know where time has gone. I had my birthday, several family reunions, and lots of time spent outside. Brooklyn and Brynlee have had a blast this summer. Steve got them a pool to play in, and they have enjoyed being around lots of cousins. They won't know what to do come winter time. Jace is walking around like crazy. Sometimes it doesn't seem like he is only 10 months. Where did my baby go? In just over a month he will be 1, and that makes me very sad. He has grown up so much these last few month. He wants to be just like his sisters. I sure love my kids. Steven has been working hard at the farm as usual, and spending his spare time with us. We are grateful for those times we do get.

Lamb Days

Have I ever mentioned how much I love Lamb days? I love being able to spend time in Ftn. Green, and being able to play in the Coed tournament all week with Steven. It's the only time we ever get to play together anymore. This year we had a really fun team and took 5th.
Lamb day day didn't go as planned. All the kids ended up sick. I felt so bad, it's hard to watch your kids be sick. They tried so hard to feel good. They missed out on a lot but they were able to see the fireworks, so that made up for it. The fireworks were amazing as always!

4th of July

I am playing a little catch up. We always spend our 4th of July in Manti doing the town celebration. We had a really good time. The girls won their race, and Steven got to dunk his dad in the tank. The girls also loved doing the egg toss. Later Steven participated in the home run derby and took 3rd. We were so happy for him. We ended the evening with a dinner and fireworks at Gary's house. I am so thankful for the men and women who fight for our freedom!
